Teo Netbook N450 w/8 hr. battery life Ubuntu Netbook Remix

  • Intel Atom N450 Processor (embedded), 1.66GHz
  • 2GB DDR2 667MHz RAM
  • 8 hour life

This ultralight 2.8 lb has a 160 GB hard drive, 2 GB memory, and runs on the Intel Atom N450 Processor. The Teo’s 10″ 1024×600 display is bright and non-glare, making it readable in a wide variety of lighting conditions. This little powerhorse is 10.2″ x 7.1″x 1.5″ even with the 6-cell . The Teo sports Intel high def speakers, internal mic, headphone and mic jacks are also included. Networking features include a 10/100 Ethernet jack and WiFi (b/g/n) built-in.1 year warranty included. Remix 9.10 is preloaded.

8.04 with Compiz running on an Acer One (8 GB memory, 1GB RAM, Intel Atom) processor. Our Photoshop runs in a window through Wine, the scale effect on compiz, which works like Expose on the Mac, and Google Gadgets (like Mac widgets or Vista gadgets on your desktop).

      I already have a Sony Vaio laptop. But its portability useless term. I needed something that I could carry around for basic web and purpose of the document. It has a lot of memory, but I prefer to keep all my documents to a USB memory anyway. Furthermore, the battery does not last too long ... It could be a disadvantage.
